Bottlabel.com is an on-line platform that allows to design and order self-adhesive labels for bottles. I was responsible for whole User Experience design of this on-line shop. I have been working in a team with a graphic designer, two web developers, social media specialists and a production assistant.
I am a co-founder of bottlabel.com and my role from the beginning was about providing the best user experience for our customers. I have taken a critical role in an ideation process. I involved users in every step of designing process and try to speak and test with them as much as it was possible.
The initial phase consists of recognition potential customers. I conducted interviews session during beer, wine and wedding related events.
In the early stages, I ask our clients to tell us more about their experiences with our store. I was interested in both on-line and off-line experiences about the ordering process, delivery and the labels themselves.
I have attended many events to have an opportunity to speak with our potential customers. I have spoken with grooms and brides interested in wedding wines, home beer and wine makers who want to add charm to their products, as well as with event planners about business cooperation.
I defined user classes and expressed them by personas. The most important was to create detailed journey map which helped us to understand our customers' feelings at each stage of the process.
I performed card sorting with potential users. Based on results I prepared web site diagram, user flows and sketches.
I proposed paper prototypes and wireframes with Axure RP. HTML version of wireframes was subject to some user tests and a basis for a graphic design.
For each screen, fully interactive prototype was developed and verified with our team and potential users. Several times I have done user tests.
I am designing landing pages for AdWords and other marketing campaigns. We target our product in several European countries and at each time a detailed analysis of potential users' expectations is needed.
I am responsible for introducing new features based on qualitative and quantitative data, mainly from user observations and Google Analytics.
I take an active part in marketing and branding activities in social, digital and traditional media. I help with banners, ads, leaflets design.
